Wow! what a fantastic representation of a creature in motion. Solid blue-grays, nice shading. Nothing too extreme as far as the base colors for the skin tones, which leads to more realism. I like it. I absolutely love the barrel, looks old and decayed...like it's barely staying together. Well done! Oh and  it's toxic leak is just icing on the cake.

Not a huge fan of the mini-sculpt, but you've done a fine job of making the mermaid stand out. Nice job on the ocean floor!

What can I say? The freehand is actually pretty darn good. On top of the fact that you have masterfully achieved the glass-effect on his goggles and the maginifaction illusion of his weapon's spyglass. The base is also well done, you can almost see the post apocalyptic land beyond.

Necropunk

Again, not a huge fan of this particular sculpt. However, you've done a fine job of bringing it to life...or unlife, if you will. Only thing I would change is to contrast the mechanical parts a little more from the flesh tones. Overall though, looks fantastic!

Are you friggin' kidding me? These are absolutely wonderfull! I love every aspect of these guys, right down to the superfantastic bases. Not sure how you got the water effects to look so damn good, but kudos! Well done!

Thanks!
I've struggled staying motivated painting lately but am currently back in the "Enjoying it" mood. So I'm grinding as fast as I can. This is a real busy month for me with lots of mini contests (yours' included) so I should have some more eye candy soon. Actually...

Here is an OLD "Throwback" TSR/Ral Partha/ Iron Wind mini I've owned for 15+ years. I dug it out and slapped some paint on him. Old soft lead, but suprisingly great detail on the sculpt. ran through lots of memories of playing D&D Battlesystem in my parents basement. My cat got a hold of him at some point during painting and It got some "kitty damage", but I saved the sword and did what I could. Notice the sweet Skullcrafts; "Autumn leaf scatter", cork rubble for rocks and misc mixed flock on the base. Your products always deliver!  victory

Just finished and added my mini to the base I won the BBO with. Hard as heck to photo but very cool mini to paint.

Wow that Steamborg is incredible!  The synergy with you BBO base is excellent, I love the whole post apocalyptic theme. Excellent skin color for this miny, a very cool "living corpse/cyborg" feel to it.  Loved that base the minute I saw it, gotta give you kudos on it again!  Love looking at all your minis, really inspiring for a new painter such as myself  cheesy

long time ago since I was last here, but noticed this and just thought I'd post. I especially like the guy coming out of the sewer, where is that fig from? Also, the steamborg is excellent. I don't really like the necropunk, looks like it's painted a bit rushy. But, that might also be because it's such a darn small sculpt or because of the pics. Overall, really nice work!

Welcome back to the forums EC, good to see you around.

Wyrd Steamborg

Pete, I got to give you props once again. The steamborg looks fantastic on that base. Nearly a perfect fit for the pose and sculpt. The effects you added to the base are just pure genius. As for your paint job, well what can I say? You made his skin look sickly. How cool is that? Places where he's wired in and/or hooked up look bruised and/or infected, very convincing. Not sure if I would have gone all silvers on the metal but he ended up looking pretty damn menacing. Well done!

Some Gaming minis that haven't made it over here yet. Thought I'd share, this Malifaux game is pretty fun people  Muhaha  Not the best paintjobs, but they are ready to play!

The hog whisperer, did a minor conversion and added the whip

The rest of the bayou boys and their piggies!

Then I did a speed paint on Leveticus 4 hours of painting (base was done and he was all prepped) He's got a magic 8ball and unibrow of doom!

and his pink-rock side kick Rusty Alyce
