Well I haven't been painting a lot lately but I have been sculpting some bases. My inspiration for this project was the Dragon Forge bases with the cut stone. I liked them so much that I decided to make my own. I made some round plaster blanks and started sculpting.

Here are the Masters after I molded them. I was surprised that the plaster originals survived without breaking.

Here are the molded copies ready to be placed on the bases. The cool thing about the plaster casts is that I will be able to carve them and sand them to make them look a little different and unique. Since the masters survived I have plans to make a second mold and double my production. Anyways I am happy with the results

C&C always welcomed.

Well I've been working hard in re doing my base inserts to improve on some flaws I had on the last go around. I actually got some blanks laser cut from a CNC shop to help me get more accurate measurements. So far it's been more of a money investment than I wanted, but I do have a lot of minis to base.
Anyways enough blah blah
Here are the pics

I poured a mold tonight so hopefully I'll be casting these babies non stop  Muhaha

Like? I want! They look great.  cheesy

I could use 10-20 of the 30mm ones, and maybe a few of the 40's. Maybe we could work something out? send me a PM if you'd be down.

Those are truly fantastic - I love them!

If you wanted to recoup a little of your expense I'd be up for buying 25mm & 50mm ones from you / PM me if that's something you're interested in!
