Now that was funny, in tonight's episode, where Dean gets beat up by Paris Hilton.   laugh

Heh heh...the part when Dean says "I haven't even seen House of Wax" and Sammy looks at him funny...priceless!

That was hilarious, I love that they put that reference in there. I really liked the end and what Dean said to Sam before letting him drive the Impala. We haven't seen Sam drive it in a looong time. Gotta say that Sam getting beat up by Gandhi was very entertaining.
I thought that Paris Hilton did a great job in that role, it was great to see her make fun of herself. Can't say that Kripke doesn't know what he's doing, somehow he pulls it off everytime.

So far the best episode of the season and possible ever was last weeks "The End". Great writing, stoned Cas, Sam as Lucifer and my personal favorite...two Deans!  I want it I thought Jensen's acting in that episode was amazing, the subtle, and not so subtle, differences between our Dean and future Dean were brilliantly portrayed

That was absolutely hilarious!

After a series of comedic episodes, that were absolutely hilarious especially the Trickster one (I love that guy), we were finally hit with a very depressing episode. Possibly the most depressing episode in Supernatural history. I hate that Ellen and Jo died but I thought the acting in that episode by everyone, especially Jensen Ackles (Dean) and Samantha Ferris (Ellen), was amazing. I like how much more mature Jo (Alona Tal) was in the two episodes she was in this season.
The episode title "Abandon All Hope" Seemed to be very accurate. Death is on Earth, Lucifer can't be killed by the colt, Bobby is stuck in a wheelchair, and two more hunters are dead. And because all that isn't depressing enough...no more new Supernatural for two months! Depressing or not this episode was amazing as usual and is probably one of my favorites so far this season.

I agree, Morgan...that episode was one of the best this season.  I actually choked up a little when Ellen was saying good-bye to Jo; very powerful, very emotional episode.

Lucifer can't be killed by the Colt.  And now the Winchesters know there are four other beings it can't kill, though Lucifer didn't name them.  I suspect that at least one of them would be God and another might be Michael the archangel.  I also like how they have damaged Lucifer's vessel to represent that it wasn't strong enough to contain him.  Nice touch.

I liked Castiel in this episode.  Especially when Meg was telling him that he had been cut off from the home office.  Loved it when he said "I can do this" and threw her into the fire, allowing him to walk out.

All in all, a very good episode.

Supernatural has been renewed for a sixth season!
Sera Gamble will succeed Erik Kripke as Showrunner but Kripke will remain actively involved in the show as executive producer. Here's a quote from the article:

"[In a nutshell, producer and director Robert Singer summed it up best: "Year six won't have the scope that this season has had.  It's tough to top the Apocalypse."

Writer Sera Gamble agreed, saying "Why would you ever try to go bigger than Lucifer?"  Instead, her idea for the future of Supernatural is "You just turn left and go a whole other direction.   The show has never really been about God and the angels and demons, it's a show about Sam and Dean."

Gamble added, "There has always been a deep well to jump into in the boys' relationship...We have the opportunity to go back from the epic to a more intimate story."]"

The show will likely go back to the stand-alones that Season One had. I think it's a great way to end the series, and I'm so glad that I don't have to say goodbye to it this year  raspberry.

My thoughts exactly!  This is my favorite show on TV, so I'm glad it's sticking around another year.
